The Friends of Linebaugh Library held their annual meeting and ice cream social Saturday afternoon at Cannonsburgh Pioneer Village. In addition to the great live music, Purity Dairies ice cream, youth activities and fellowship; members voted on a slate of officers for the next fiscal year.

Congratulations to: Sandra Pineault, President, Patricia Freeman, Vice President, Lisa McCann, Secretary, Linda Gill, Treasurer; and board members Joyce Cunningham, Eva Graalman, Shelly Graham, Jon Jacques, Elizabeth Kobeck, Carlton Miller, Sally Schneider, Antionette van Zelm and Linda Vile.

The Friends of Linebaugh Library is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that was formed in 1981 to promote the library and its activities through exhibits, special programming, and library materials beyond the regular resources of the Library. The group's main fund raisers are the used book sales that take place throughout the year at their "store front" on the parking level immediately below the library. They also sell "bags of books" during regular hours at the library.
