A 22-year old Murfreesboro woman was pulled over on Broad Street for having a broken headlight. Once stopped, police noted that she appeared nervous.
A drivers license check on Kacee D. Pieratt showed that her license was suspended for failing to pay a citation. Her passenger in the car was also wanted on a Violation of Probation warrant.
When police questioned Pieratt as to why she was so nervous, they asked to search her car. She allowed the search to take place and a mason jar containing marijuana was located in the trunk along with a digital scale. About that time Pieratt confessed to authorities that she sells blunts for $5 and a dime bag for only $10.
Before stepping foot inside the local jail, police asked the woman if she had any more contraband on her person. She told police she stuffed a bag of marijuana inside her. Evidently she retrieved the bag and was charged with Tampering with Evidence, Driving on a Suspended License, the Manufacturing, Delivery or Sale of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
At this point, the woman remains behind bars and will appear in court on November 11, 2015.
