Get a signed copy of "Serving Uncle Sam in the 50th Ohio" written by local author Lee Ann Newton this weekend. She'll be at Hastings on Memorial between 2-4pm this Saturday signing books and also doing a presentation on the Civil War. Proceeds from the book go to battlefield preservation. Newton will also be at the Linebaugh Public Library on Saturday, September 17th from 2-4pm speaking on the causes of the Civil War, in conjunction with signing copies of her book.
