A Goodwill Career Solutions-hosted job fair at the Murfreesboro Housing Authority, 419 N. Maple St., will feature 18 employers. At least 370 jobs are available at the event, which will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
Employers include Kroger, Stones River Center, Select Staffing, LaGreen's Masonry, Embassy Suites, YMCA Fun Company, Volunteers of America, Volt Workforce Solutions, Kelly Services, Senior Solutions, Doubletree Hotel, Amazon, Alliance HR, Zaxyby's, Wise Staffing, McDonald's, Swift Staffing and SMX Staffing Management.
Openings in Rutherford, Davidson and Wilson counties include accounting, warranty claims, mechanical claims, call center, licensed practical nurse, computer and cell phone repair, brick mason, forklift, food production, housekeeping and other positions. Rates of pay range from $7.25 per hour to $23 per hour.
Representatives from these companies will be on site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID, Social Security card or birth certificate.
