Meals on Wheels in Dire Need of Funding

Meals on Wheels is in need of additional funding. The local program that delivers meals to seniors whose mobility is limited has not seen a raise in funding in about 17-years. The program even has a waiting list for elderly folks who can not make their own meals. Audrey Wildes heads the Mid Cumberland Meals on Wheels that deliver meals to seniors in Rutherford County. She told news channel 5 that demand has risen for the program but funding has not.
