Ben and Maggie Parsley announce the 9th Annual Excellence in Education event to be held Friday, February 5, 2016 to benefit the City Schools Foundation. It will be 7:00 o'clock that evening at the Stones River Country Club with individual tickets $250 and sponsorship beginning at $1,500.

"The 2016 theme will highlight the many cultures represented by MCS students and staff," says event chair and board member Ben Parsley. "We will highlight Black Fox Elementary as they celebrate their 25th anniversary."

The City Schools Foundation is a group of civic and business leaders banding together to benefit Murfreesboro City Schools' pre-Kindergarten through sixth grade students. Most recently, The Foundation gave over $50,000 in grants to MCS teachers.
