Lost dog from the Cynosport World Games in Murfreesboro has been found, safe

Oct 24, 2015 at 10:08 pm by Bryan Barrett

Stacey Breckel traveled with her three Shetland Sheepdogs from Louisville, Kentucky to compete at the Cynosport World Games in Murfreesboro last week at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum.

Saturday morning (10/24/2015), all three dogs escaped their kennels. She was able to get two of the three back quickly, but a third, Andromeda, was spooked and ran off.

Andromeda is a two-year-old Shetland Sheepdog.

Amazingly, the third dog was safely located Saturday night and reunited with the tearful owner.

The Cynosport World Games were held at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum last Wednesday through Sunday, October 21-25, 2015. More than a thousand canines competed in what is described as the Grand Prix of Dog Agility World Champions. Dogs of all shapes, sizes, colors and breeds ran nose-to-nose for the chance to be crowned. The five-day event included "paws-on" activities like Splash Dogs, lure coursing, and an "Agility 101" course.
