Thanks to two linemen at Murfreesboro Electric, the Good Neighbor Station got back on the air quickly Wednesday morning. Roy Wright and Michael Farless rushed to the radio station's tower shortly after 6:00AM.
Murfreesboro Electric's Amy Byers said the problem was a "phase down".
She explained that all of the rain weighted the trees down into the power lines, and that caused the power cable to snap.
Quick work by Michael Farless and Roy Wright got NewsRadio WGNS back on the air within a short period of time.
