The theft occurred when two females knocked on a man's door and asked to use his bathroom.
Evidently, the 63-year old man who lives on East Sevier Street allowed two young females into his house after they asked to use his bathroom. The victim told police that while they were in the house, someone rang his doorbell. When the doorbell rang he went to answer it. About that same time, the two females grabbed two pairs of Nike shoes that were in his daughters' room along with $50 in cash and quickly exited out the front door.
The females jumped into a gold Monte Carlo that had a rainbow sticker over the trunk latch. They fled the scene.
An arrest has not been made.
