A local author will be at the Linebaugh Public Library from 10:00 o'clock Tuesday morning until 1:00 that afternoon on December 1st. Gloria P. Humphrey will be telling about her new book Things to Build on: Poems of Constructive Character, I Come...A Memoir, Patrice Grows a Garden and A Secret Place.

Humphrey is a native of south Florida, and the single mother of four now calls this area her home.

She has survived the many challenges of life by grace and her faith in God. She aspires to become a creative writer of non-fiction, poetry and inspiration while combining her knack for travel, photography and food. Working on one of her manuscripts resulted in her first visit to Europe and an extraordinary journey. She has recently moved to Tennessee and lives in Smyrna.

The author will be signing and selling copies of her books for $10 each. Children's books are 2 for $15 or 3 for $25. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
