Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the other Peanuts Gang grapple with the real meaning of Christmas. Perform Murfreesboro's production of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" runs December 11-13 at the Patterson Community Center.
Good grief, "A Charlie Brown Christmas" turns 50 this year! The local production is directed by Amie Miles and produced by Pam Williams in this milestone golden anniversary year for Charlie.
Williams noted, "This classic production coupled with a talented cast are coming together to bring Murfreesboro a truly magical weekend. From the curtains opening on a snowy ice rink to Snoopy and the gang's signature dance moves, this production will take you back to a simpler time and fill your heart with Christmas cheer."
The play will be held December 11, 12, & 13 in The Washington Theatre at Patterson Park Community Center. Showtimes are Friday & Saturday at 7:00PM, and Sunday at 2:00PM. The doors open a half-hour before showtime. The tickets are: Adults $7.50. Youth (ages 4-17) $6.00, Seniors (ages 60+) $6.00, Perform Murfreesboro members $3.00 and may be purchased in advance.
