Murfreesboro Police are asking for the public's help with identifying a suspect photographed overnight on November 25th going into Thanksgiving morning at the Dollar General Store at 352 West Northfield Boulevard.

The Dollar General manager told Officer Whitley that the surveillance video shows a suspect entering the store around 9:19 Wednesday night, November 25th. It is believed that they remained hidden until around 11:00 o'clock that evening. The unknown male then entered the safe codes and took $3,831.

The security system confirms that the subject remained in the store until a vehicle pulled-up and he exited the store.

Police have interviewed the assistant manager who locked the store on the evening before Thanksgiving, and no one knows the identity of the person photographed by the surveillance system.

Police continue their investigation into this commercial burglary case, and they have a list of store personnel who know the access code to the safe.

Murfreesboro Police ask you to phone the police at 615-893-1311 if you have any information. If you prefer to remain anonymous, call CrimeStoppers at 615-893-STOP (7867). If your tip leads to an arrest and conviction, you could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000, and no one, not even the police, know who you are.
