Arrest not made in cracked skull incident outside of a Murfreesboro bar

A 21-year old Murfreesboro man suffered a cracked skull after being punched in the face outside the Gentleman Jim's bar in the area of Greenland Drive. The victim told police that while outside a white male with a red beard that went down to his chest approached him and suggested this his male anatomy was bigger than his. A witness stated the unknown male then punched the 21-year old in the face, knocking him to the ground. The assailant then stated, "Asleep."

The victim was unconscious for about two minutes and the following day was taken to the St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital Emergency Room. The victim had multiple bruises as well as a cracked skull.

Police have yet to find the attacker and the victim does not know why he was attacked. The attacker was said to be a regular at Gentleman Jim's, but an arrest has not been confirmed. The police report shows that the subject weighed about 170 pounds and stood at 5'9". He was also balding on top.
