Around midnight, early Friday morning (8/26/11), Murfreesboro Police were called to the Ramada Inn on South Church Street for a robbery-shooting. They were at the scene almost immediately and got a good description of the suspect's vehicle. That car was spotted by officers and a high-speed pursuit began, taking them on I-24 into Nashville, exiting onto Bell Road and flying through subdivisions before crashing into a tree on Anderson Road. The suspect jumped and fled on foot into the shadows of the night. Police are still searching for the man.
