Despite earlier e-mails from the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, they have decided to cancel Friday night's (1/22/2016) BUSINESS AT ITS BEST. It will be rescheduled to a future date.

The Chamber's Lauren Fletcher notes, "If you're keeping score, we lost. The final score: Mother Nature 1 and the Chamber 0. Unfortunately, we are canceling tonight's Business at its Best event, but will announce a new date soon."

Kelli Beam said, "We appreciate all of the help in putting together this huge endeavor, but the safety of everyone involved is much more important. We appreciate your understanding. Please stay safe."

Your Good Neighbor Station still wants to THANK the three community leaders who are being honored when BUSINESS AT ITS BEST is rescheduled: This year's BUSINESS LEGEND is Mark Follis with local CPA Dempsey, Vantrease and Follis; the BUSINESS LEGEND is John Floyd with OLE SOUTH PROPERTIES; and Leadership Rutherford's PINNACLE AWARD recipient is Chris Jones with Middle Tennessee Electric.
