The city of LaVergne continues to grow. Today, the city that is sandwiched between Nashville and Smyrna, has a population of more than 34,000 residents. The growth apparently makes it easy to buy or sell a home.

Rob Mitchell, the Rutherford County Assessor of Property told WGNS on Thursday, "In a recent report by the website SmartAsset.com; Lavergne was ranked as the 2nd easiest place to sell a home in Tennessee. LaVergne is the 43rd easiest place to sell a home in the entire nation."
