A Meadowhill Drive resident was at home when someone drove by and shot his house. The shots rang out around 10:00 Saturday night. Meadowhill Drive is in the area of Osborne Lane in Murfreesboro.

According to a Murfreesboro Police report that was released on Monday, the victim heard the shot and quickly ran outside to see who fired it. Once outside, he saw a dark colored Chevrolet Malibu driving away.

No shell casings were left at the scene, but a round was found to have impacted the front of the house. The case is under investigation and no arrests have been made.
