Video footage inside Cash City on NW Broad Street in Murfreesboro captured a man cashing a check that turned out to be bad.

Reports indicate the 22 year old Murfreesboro man cashed a check for $11,275 at Cash City and the company later found out through U.S. Bank that the check had been returned. The offense has been labeled as both fraud and theft over $10,000.

The theft is now under investigation.
