Murfreesboro Police located a Dickson, Tennessee man who was wanted on several "Violent Felony Warrants," according to an arrest report WGNS obtained on Thursday (3/24/16). Officers spotted 29 year old Antonio M. Green outside of a home on Kenslo Avenue. Police noted in the report that several subjects were in the yard with Green and almost everyone appeared to be wearing red clothing.
When police asked Green to face them and to hold up his hands, he evidently refused at first while keeping one hand in the waistband of his shorts. When one of two MPD officers pointed a taser at Green, he lifted one of his hands and a handgun fell to the ground that was allegedly in his shorts. Police then ordered Green to the ground where he was handcuffed. The gun was later determined to be stolen.
Green was served warrants for Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Two Counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Two Counts of Violation of Probation.
Also arrested at 300 Kenslo Avenue in Murfreesboro was 28 year old Sheldon L. Henry. He was charged with Violation of Probation.
Both men were booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.
