The Republican Party of Rutherford County has officially announced that the Honorable Scott DesJarlais, Tennessee Congressman, District 4, will be the featured speaker at the upcoming GOP Lunch meeting on Tuesday, April 5th at 11:30a.m.

Donna Barrett, Rutherford County Republican Party Chairman stated, "His independent, conservative efforts led National Journal Magazine to rank Congressman DesJarlais as the fourth most conservative member of the United States House of Representatives and Congressional Quarterly to list him as one of the top five Members of Congress who has consistently voted against President Obama's agenda. We are proud to have him be the featured speaker for our second luncheon in the GOP Speaker series."

The event will be held at the Doubletree Hotel at 1850 Old Fort Pkwy in Murfreesboro. The charge is $25 (including tax and gratuity) for the lunch meal. There is limited seating and those interested in attending please visit www.rutherfordgop.org/events to order tickets.
