A Guatemalan native fell victim to an armed robbery on Monday. The victim was closing the door to his apartment on Cypress Drive when a large black male pushed open the door injuring the victim in the process. After the bandit made his way into the victims’ apartment, the victim screamed for someone to call 9-1-1 after handing over his wallet. His cry for help fell on deaf ears and he had to call 9-1-1 himself after the man who was armed with a knife left out the door he came in. According to the official incident report, a slight language barrier delayed the police response time. So far, the armed subject has not been caught and the victim is out $100.
