An accidental shooting was reported on West Northfield Blvd. The incident occurred on September 10^th. The victim was shot in the shoulder by a friend from another room in the home. The Murfreesboro Police Department Incident Report shows that the shooter was in another room looking at the gun when it accidently fired. The bullet was said to have gone into his neck near his collar bone and exit out of his shoulder. The “accidental” gunshot victim was transported to the local hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
