Postal Office to Shutter More Locations

The US Postal Service says it needs to shrink its network to deal with the declines in mail volume.  This downsizing could mean more rural post offices in our area may shutter their doors. Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe laid out the agency's plan to save three billion dollars by 2015 Thursday.  It includes the possible closure of 250 mail processing facilities and cutting 35 thousand employees mostly through forced retirement:
