Sept. 19 Public Meeting on Mercury Blvd. Project grant application

The City of Murfreesboro will host a public meeting Monday, September 19, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Patterson Park Community Center to discuss the purpose of a TDOT Transportation Alternatives (TAP) grant application. The purpose of the grant application is to seek federal transportation funding for a pedestrian improvement project along Mercury Boulevard (US 70) from SE Broad Street (US 41/70) to Middle Tennessee Boulevard.

The public meeting will be held in Meeting Room "A" at the Patterson Park Community Center, located at 521 Mercury Boulevard, Murfreesboro, TN, 37130. Representatives from the City Transportation Department will discuss the purpose and need as well as the general intended design and construction parameters of the project and the community's role in the application process.

The City of Murfreesboro is seeking public comment and residents are encouraged to attend.
