Free enterprise will be the topic of discussion at the 19th annual MTSU Economic Outlook Conference. Retired CEO Mark A. Emkes will be the guest speaker. Emkes is the former president of Bridgestone Americas, Inc. and current state commissioner of finance and administration. The special conference is specifically for business owners, bankers and business students. The Jennings A. Jones Free Enterprise Award will be given during the conference. The conference is today (Sept. 30) at the Embassy Suites Hotel.
