For the 7^th time a local resident has been charged with driving on a suspended license. Dustin J. Thompson was pulled over on Pitts Lane for not wearing his seatbelt. Once stopped, it was realized that Thompson had been cited 6-times before for driving on a suspended license. Thompson was taken to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center and booked under a $5,000 bond. In other words, his $50-seat belt violation will cost him a whole lot more now that he faces charges for the 7^th time for driving on a revoked license.
