La Vergne Police are teaming up with the DEA's National Drug Take Back Initiative. On October 22nd from 10-2pm you can drop off your unused or expired prescription pills at the La Vergne Walmart, located at 5511 Murfreesboro Road. LPD and DEA aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
