Murfreesboro police continue to investigate a murder case that unfolded earlier this year.

That was former District Attorney Bill Whitesell.

Major Clyde Adkison told WGNS in the past, "The shooting is still under investigation at this time. We are hoping that a witness will come forward in this homicide."

Again, the victim was 23 year old Donte Bernard Johnson from Bartlett, TN. He was shot and killed this past March at the Vie Apartment Complex in Murfreesboro.
