A 67 year old Murfreesboro woman was scammed over the purchase of an RV on CraigsList.

Apparently, the victim told police she found a 2007 Forest River Forester motor home for sale on CraigsList and decided to buy the camper. She went as far as paying the seller $6,800. The victim said she sent the money to a post office box in Carrollton, Georgia.

After the money was sent, the seller confirmed that she got the payment and that she would soon be getting the motor home. But, the RV never came.

Murfreesboro Police are investigating the case.
