Need For Homeless Aide For Women and Children

A large segment of this community's homeless population are not being adequately served, and The Way of Hope's Director Brad Blomgren says, "Women and children sleeping outside becomes a greater problem with cold nights".

He is setting-up a program, similar to one that has been in Nashville for many decades, in which area churches share nights to allow homeless women and children to stay at their facilities.

Murfreesboro's Got Talent!

A fund raiser to support this effort will be in the form of a talent show on Friday, October 21st at the Patterson Community Center (521 Mercury Boulevard). Participants have already gone through an audition process. The 5:30 show that evening is for ages 2-15 and a 7:30 program features talent ages 16 and older. Tickets are $6 each, and available at the door for a night of fun: "Murfreesboro's Got Talent"!
