Murfreesboro Police are investigating the report of a rape that allegedly took place in a business on Dashiel Street.

According to the report, the victim says that she and other employees began drinking alcohol around noon and continued until 2:30, when she was heavily intoxicated. At one point, the woman remembered dancing, but does not recall anything after the dance. However, another employee sent her a video that showed her disrobing and then going into a nearby office with her male boss.

The woman woke up the following morning fully clothed at her home, but has no recollection of events. A co-worker said the boss often drinks, but does not drink to the point of intoxication like other employees at the business. The witness further suggested that the boss did not appear to be intoxicated on the date of the incident.

The alleged rape report was filed on Tuesday, but the reported crime was said to have occurred on November 28th. Detectives are now investigating the allegations. No charges have been filed.

No names or addresses are being released, pending the outcome of an investigation.
