The attempted robbery of a 40-year old man on Bradyville Pike did not turn out well for the three robbers. The trio left empty handed.
According to the victim, he answered a knock at his apartment door around 10:00 Wednesday night. When he opened the door, he was met by three males, one armed with a knife and two pointing guns at him. The victim said that he quickly pulled out a knife and the three men fled on foot.
While nothing was taken in the attempted hold-up, police are still on the lookout for the three men.
The victim described the men as being black males. One looked to be about 16 while the other two appeared to be in their thirties. The trio ran from the Bradyville Pike address towards Broad Street.
The Criminal Investigations Division was notified about the incident, but an arrest has not been made.
