Murfreesboro Police will receive keys to the new structure in December of this year (2017).

The new building is at the site of the former Murfreesboro Medical Clinic offices on North Highland Avenue. Much of the existing steel beamed structure was retrofitted to adapt to the new architecture of the new police department that is under construction now.
