The Middle Tennessee softball coaches have announced registration is now open for the 2011 Fall All-Skills Clinic.

This year’s clinic will be held Nov. 12 from 1-4 p.m. CST at Blue Raider Field. Players of all ages are encouraged to attend.

Blue Raider coaches Sue Nevar, Megan Rhodes Smith and Kassie Stanfill will provide instruction with hitting mechanics, defensive skills and baserunning technique. Current Middle Tennessee players will assist by demonstrating proper form in all aspects of the game to the clinic participants.

“We strongly believe this clinic is extremely beneficial to any player who aspires to play college softball,” said Stanfill. “Our goal is to improve the skills of the participants in each area of the game by delivering hands-on instruction and performing various drills.”

The cost of attendance is $75 and the deadline to register is Nov. 9. Late registration will be available for $90. Attendees are asked to arrive as early as possible to the clinic to enable a prompt start.
