The Murfreesboro Police Department will conduct a R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) basic physical defense class for women beginning November 1, 2011.
The four (4) class sessions will be held at the Believer’s Chapel located at 1820 South Rutherford Blvd. The classes are held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. beginning November 1, 2011.
The R.A.D. program teaches women realistic self-defense tactics and techniques to give women the tools necessary to stop an attack. Topics include: risk awareness, risk reduction, risk avoidance, and self-defense techniques.
Participants must have a parental consent form completed if under 18.
