There was a stabbing this week at Haynes Manor Apartments on Northfield Boulevard. The victim was stabbed in the neck, according to an arrest report filed on the 10th of October. Local electrician James R. Rogers was accused of the stabbing and apprehended. The victim, Jay Evans, is at Middle Tennessee Medical Center recovering and Rogers was taken to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center to await his day in court. Rogers was charged with aggravated assault.
