A stolen Rolex Submariner watch that was stolen in Franklin, Tennessee was sold to a store in Murfreesboro. The watch was then sold a second time to an out of state buyer by the Murfreesboro store before it was realized to be stolen.

The Franklin Police Department is investigating the original theft and now Murfreesboro Police are assisting because the watch was sold in Murfreesboro.

While the case remains under investigation, it looks as if the thief who may have originally stolen the watch in Williamson County lives in Murfreesboro. The Rolex was valued at about $7,000, which makes it a felony case.

The case remains open.
