Mar 02, 2017 at 01:38 pm by Bryan Barrett

A Siegel Middle School 11-year old will receive an honor from Girl Scouts that hasn't been given locally in at least 20-years.

Lizzie Anderson from Troop 2198 talks about what happened driving home one night after dinner with her grandfather and sister...

Lizzie saved her sister's life using the heimlich maneuver to dislodge the mint. It's something she learned in Girl Scouts.

Girl Scout Regional Executive Dawn Rhodes says Lizzie will receive the Honor Pin April 30th at the Sola Leadership Awards. It will be held at David Lipscomb in Nashville.
