Smyrna Elementary has a new interim principal. Trey Duke was given the title and will fill out the remainder of the year after the sudden resignation of Regina Joiner last month. Duke has been an assistant at Smyrna Elementary since 2009. Joiner resigned as principal on Thursday, September 29th, effective that afternoon.
