TheSeniorCenterin La Vergne is hosting a health fair for elderly residents on Tuesday, October 25 from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.  Sponsored by the Rutherford County Health Department and other agencies, the health fair will provide flu shots for $25 (or free with a Medicare Card), as well as blood pressure checks and other helpful health information.

“During this time of year with temperatures changing and unpredictable weather patterns, keeping an eye on your health is very important to a senior,” saidDonna Bebout, coordinator of the La Vergne Senior Center. “Bringing medical professionals to theSeniorCenteroffers another opportunity for our senior community to ask questions and collect valuable information to maintain a healthy lifestyle.”
