An armed robbery was reported this past Friday (5/12/17) over tennis shoes.

Evidently, the victim went to meet a subject in the parking lot of Bargain Hunt on Lascassas Pike to sell two pairs of shoes to. During the transaction, the man known only a "Joshua" pulled out a silver revolver. The culprit pointed the gun at the victim while grabbing the $600 pair of Adidas Yeezy shoes and along with a second pair of Adidas running shoes, and then ran to a nearby truck.

After stealing the shoes, the suspect drove away in the dark colored extended cab pickup. He has yet to be caught. The Criminal Investigation Division of the MPD is in charge of the investigation.
