Rotary Club of Murfreesboro President Barbara Sutton and Rotarian Becci Bookner proudly awarded recent Oakland High School graduate Kiley Dibble the $1,000 'Past District Governors' Scholarship.
The winner of the Past District Governors' Scholarship is based on:
- Financial need
- Academic performance
- Extracurricular activities
- Work experience
To be eligible for the scholarship the applicant must be graduating in the spring and intend to enroll in the freshman class of an institution of higher learning or trade school in any state in the coming fall. The applicant must also possess a grade point average of B or above.
The monies awarded will be used for one academic year with distributions for each semester and not limited to tuition. Funds may be used for text books and or food services at the institution you are attending.
Kiley is the daughter of Jim Dibble of John Jones Real Estate in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Kiley is enrolled for the fall semester at the University of Tennessee with an intent to study international business.
