A portion of the North Murfreesboro Greenway trail near the Walter Hill Trailhead and dam will be closed down beginning Friday, Aug 4. The reason the city is shutting down the area is to stabilize erosion on the switch-back or "S-Curve".

Repairs will take approximately 10 to 14 days, depending on the weather.

The Central Valley Trailhead will be open, and approximately 1 mile of the trail will be accessible during this time, according to the Parks and Rec. Department.
