A Murfreesboro woman called the police after an intruder tried to make his way into her home. The incident occurred on James Edmon Court off of Haynes Drive. The victim told police when she heard the window open she screamed and witnessed a man running away from her home. By the time police got to the home, the culprit was gone. The woman told police that she saw the man get into a silver colored car, but did not get a license plate number.
