An accident with injuries landed a Murfreesboro woman behind bars. The wreck occurred on Bridge Avenue near the New Salem Highway.

When police spoke to one of the drivers involved in the crash, it was discovered that Sherrie Ann Saunders was driving without a license and without insurance. Evidently, she had five past run in's with the law for driving with a revoked license. Therefore, the wreck on Bridge Avenue landed her a charge of "Driving on a Revoked License for the 6th time."

The 44 year old woman also had warrants for her arrest for violating probation and failing to appear in court. Saunders was also charged for not having proof of insurance.

A court date has been scheduled for November 29, 2017.
