Accidental Firing of a Handgun at Apartment

Nov 07, 2011 at 10:54 am by Bryan Barrett

A Murfreesboro man called the police after an upstairs neighbor fired a handgun through his ceiling. The incident was reported at Chelsa Place Apartments. The victim told officers that he was doing his homework when he heard a loud noise and noticed a hole in his ceiling. It was then realized that the hole was from a bullet that had been fired from a 9mm handgun. Johnny Crivello, the upstairs neighbor, was arrested by police and charged with reckless endangerment. Crivello told officers that he did not mean to fire the gun because he did not know it was loaded when he pulled the trigger.
