Millions of people suffer from debilitating pain and stiffness in their joints that can limit their mobility and quality of life. Middle Tennessee Medical Center (MTMC) will host a free joint pain seminar at 6:00 o'clock Thursday evening, November 17th, in the meeting room located just inside the hospital’s main entrance.
Attendees will learn about the anatomy of the knee, hip and shoulder, common causes of joint pain and the latest treatment options. They will have the opportunity to ask questions of MTMC joint replacement surgeons, Drs. Matthew Barrett, Michael Jordan, Russell McKissick and Rick Rogers.
Whether the condition is caused from trauma, repetitive stress, arthritis or the result of a sports-related injury, there are a variety of non-surgical or surgical treatment options that can offer relief for knee, hip and shoulder pain.
Light refreshments will be provided and a free gift will be given to the first 50 people who register. To register for the seminar or obtain more information, please call 615-284-LIFE (284-5433).
