A man who fired a rifle wearing all black tried to rob a victim at an ATM machine in Murfreesboro. The attempted hold up happened at the Regions Bank on Old Fort Parkway. Reports indicate the attempted robbery happened early Saturday morning in broad day light. The robber was also wearing a motorcycle helmet when he attempted to rob the victim. One shot was fired at the victim before the victim sped away in his car. The robber got away empty handed. This marks the fifth ATM robbery in recent months in Murfreesboro.
