Red Cross Responds to Shelbyville Fire

Red Cross volunteers responded to a fire in Shelbyville on Monday evening located at an apartment complex at 400 Barksdale Lane.   The fire affected 8 units and displaced 25 people.  Red Cross provided immediate temporary lodging to those families who needed it and will continue to provide emergency assistance on a case-by-case basis, as needed in the next few days.
