MTSU Triple: football and basketball double-header!

Nov 09, 2011 at 02:22 pm by Bryan Barrett

For fans wanting to take advantage of a rare football-basketball weekend, November 19 has been set up especially for you. The Blue Raider football team hosts Sun Belt Conference leader Arkansas State at 2 PM on the 19th, while the men’s basketball team will tipoff against UNC Greensboro at 5:15 PM as part of the Maui Invitational Regional doubleheader. The championship and consolation games are set for Sunday, November 20.

A fan purchasing the football game as part of the on-going November Triple Play promotion for $10 will be able to attend the basketball doubleheader on November 19 at no additional cost. Then, as part of the Triple Play, you will be able to select a men’s basketball game and a women’s basketball game during the month.

Middle Tennessee encourages fans to take full advantage of this unbelievable deal.

On the 19th, fans are welcome to go back-and-forth from the football game to the basketball game. At the conclusion of the football game, the Blue Raider men’s basketball team will face UNC Greensboro at 5:15 PM. Belmont and Towson tip off at 2:30 PM.

The football game is also the 30th annual Salute to Armed Services/Veterans Day where the Blue Raiders honor veterans and active service personnel. The US Marine Corps Reserve will also be accepting unwrapped toys at the gates for Toys for Tots. Click on GoBlueRaiders.com/gameday for all the details.

The November Triple Play is a spectacular promotion that allows admission to a combination of Blue Raider football, men's basketball and women's basketball games during the month.

The ticket price for all three is a total of $10! For $10, fans can get a ticket to one of the two November football games (Nov. 19th vs Arkansas State, or Nov. 26th vs FIU), a ticket to one of the four men's basketball games (Nov. 11th vs Austin Peay, Nov. 19th vs UNC Greensboro, Nov. 20th vs Belmont or Towson, or Nov. 22nd vs Cumberland) and a ticket to one of the two women's basketball games (Nov. 17 vs South Dakota State or Nov. 23rd vs Tennessee Tech). This is how it works. When you purchase your ticket to any of the games listed above, you will be given a voucher for games of the other two sports to be redeemed at the games of your choice in November.
